Terms of use
  • The Website at the web address www.victoriavr.com ("Website") is operated by the company Victoria VR, a.s., ID No. 09695346, with a registered office at Vaclavske namesti 796/42, Nove Mesto, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. B 25843 ("Company").
    These terms and conditions for the use of the Website regulate the mutual rights and obligations of User and the Company.

    Each visitor to the Website is hereinafter referred to as a "User".
  • The User has the possibility to register on the Website and create his/her User interface ("User account").
    By accessing the User account, the User of the Website confirms that he/she has read these terms and conditions for the use of the Website and undertakes to comply with them.
    When registering for a User account, the User is obliged to provide correct and truthful information. The User is obliged to update the information provided in the User account whenever it changes.
    The User acknowledges that the User account may not be available continuously, especially with regard to the necessary maintenance of the Company"s hardware and software. The Company shall not be liable for any damage caused to the User during the use of the User Account, including any damage caused by downloading data published on the Website or the User Account, damage caused by interruptions in operation, Website malfunction, computer viruses or damage due to data loss.
  • Access to the User account is secured with a Username and password. The User is obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding the information necessary to access his/her User account.
    The User is not entitled to allow third parties to use the User account.
    The Company may cancel the User account, especially if the User has not used his/her User account for more than 3 years or if the User violates the rules for the use of the Website and the User account.
    If the User shares his/her User account with a third party, the Company reserves the right to suspend access to the User account.
    The User is obliged to secure his/her User account against access by third parties. The User is obliged to inform the Company of:
    (a) any unauthorised use of a User account or other breach of security; or
    (b) the suspected or possible use of any hacking tools in connection with a User account,
    to the e-mail address [email protected] within 24 hours of becoming aware of such conduct.
  • The Company is developing a virtual reality metaverse with feng shui elements ("Victoria VR World").
    Among other things, registered Users will be able to preview the Victoria VR World map.
  • The Company fulfils its information obligation towards the User within the meaning of Article 13 of Regulation (EC) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) with regard to the processing of the User"s personal data through a specific document available on the Website.
  • The Company shall exercise the proprietary copyright in the works within the meaning of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., Copyright Act, published on the Website and the works in the User account, including all its components, content, logos and advertising texts ("Works").
    At the same time, materials, texts, or graphic creations that do not fall under the definition of a work of authorship under the Copyright Act ("Materials") are published on the Website.
    Neither the Works nor the Materials may be stored, modified, distributed or otherwise owned unless the Company has given prior written consent to such action.
    In particular, the User is not entitled to:
    use or transmit Works or Materials to another website or network;
    edit, translate, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Works or Materials;
    reproduce Works or Materials;
    Distribute, license, rent, sell, lease, or otherwise transfer the Works or Materials.
  • These terms of use and the legal relations between the User and the Company are governed by Czech law. This is without prejudice to the rights of the consumer under generally binding legislation.
    The Company is entitled to unilaterally change these Terms of Use on the date on which it makes the new version of the Terms of Use available on the Website.
    In the event of a dispute between the User and the Company, the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction according to the location of the Company"s registered office.
    According to Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, the consumer has the right to out-of-court settlement of a consumer dispute arising from a consumer contract. In such a case, the User may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Central Inspectorate - ADR Department, Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, email: [email protected], Website: adr.coi.cz). Online out-of-court dispute resolution can be initiated through the ODR platform, available on the Website ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
    The Company operates on the basis of a trade licence. Supervision is exercised by the Trade Licensing Office and, to the extent defined by law, by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, to which the User may turn with any complaint.
    These conditions of use are made with effect from 14.02.2024.
