AI Builder Hackathon 2026: Build the Future of AI-Native 3D Experiences
What happens when AI stops generating static content and starts building interactive worlds?
That is the challenge behind the AI Builder Hackathon 2026.
We are inviting developers, creators, technical artists, AI engineers, and experimental builders from around the world to create the next generation of browser-native AI tools and experiences.
Register Now
You can participate independently or as part of a team.
Participating Solo?
You are considered a one-person team and must complete both forms:
Participating as a Team?
Only the team leader must complete the Registration Form on behalf of the entire team. Every team member (including team leader) must complete the Participant Confirmation Form individually.
- Registration Form — Completed Once by the Team Leader
- Participant Confirmation Form — Required for Every Team Member
For example, if your team has five members:
- Only the team leader must complete the Registration Form.
- All five members must complete the Participant Confirmation Form.
Before registering, please review the official:
This is not a traditional hackathon.
We are looking for projects that transform natural language into living, interactive systems:
- AI-generated 3D scenes
- Intelligent NPCs and agents
- Procedural worlds
- Browser-native creative tools
- Multimodal workflows
- Real-time AI interactions
- Experimental interfaces for the future web
If you have ever imagined a future where you can describe a world and instantly interact with it inside the browser, this is your playground.
Fully Online. Open Worldwide.
Solo developers and teams are welcome.
Use any web-based 3D rendering stack:
- Three.js
- Babylon.js
- WebGPU
- React Three Fiber
- Custom engines
- Unreal Engine
- Unity
- Experimental browser pipelines
AI coding assistants and AI-generated assets are allowed.
What matters most is originality, functionality, intelligent interaction, and a polished user experience.
Prize Pool
- €10,000 for 1st Place
- €5,000 for 2nd Place
- €3,000 for 3rd Place
- €1,500 for 4th Place
- €500 for 5th Place
Additional prizes and collaboration opportunities will also be available for standout projects.
Top finalists will receive interview and collaboration opportunities with the Victoria VR team.
Timeline
- Registration Opens: July 10, 2026
- Registration Closes: September 8, 2026
- Build Period: September 11–November 11, 2026
- Submission Deadline: November 11, 2026
- Winners Announced: November 25, 2026
Early Registration Benefits
The first 10 successfully registered solo participants or teams can receive up to €400 in AI Development Credit.
Use the credit for AI tools and services that help you build your project during the hackathon.
Choose the AI tools that work best for your workflow.
The credit is paid before the official build period, giving you time to prepare.
The maximum support is €400 per eligible registration, or the actual cost of your selected AI services if lower.
Only the first 10 successfully completed registrations are eligible, so registering early matters.
The credit is available per registration, whether you compete solo or as a team.
A registration is considered complete only when all required forms have been submitted:
- Solo participants must complete both the Participant Registration Form and the Registration Form.
- Every member of a team must complete the Participant Registration Form.
- The team leader must complete the Registration Form once on behalf of the team.
Participants are responsible for purchasing and managing their own AI subscriptions using the provided funds.
Requests for multiple AI services are allowed, provided that the total subscription cost does not exceed €400.
To receive the payment, you will need to submit a short request form and provide the required payment and verification details before the Organizer’s deadline.
Incomplete forms or missing information may result in the loss of eligibility for the AI Development Credit.
What We Are Looking For
We want ambitious ideas that push the boundaries of what is possible in the browser.
Strong submissions may include:
- AI copilots for 3D creation
- Prompt-to-world systems
- Intelligent scene generation
- Browser-based AI editors
- Autonomous NPC ecosystems
- AI-assisted game mechanics
- Procedural storytelling systems
- Collaborative AI workflows
- Real-time generative environments
The browser is evolving into a real-time AI operating system for creation.
We want to see what you build for that future.
Requirements
To qualify:
- Your project must run in the browser. The backend layer may run separately in the cloud or on-premise.
- The project must turn plain language into 3D scenes and working logic.
- The Organizer may request additional submission materials.
- Late, incomplete, altered, inaccessible, or non-compliant submissions may be rejected or disqualified.
- Material changes may only be made after the deadline with express permission from the Organizer.
- The backend may use any hosting environment, provided it remains operational during judging.
- The Organizer’s licence continues even if submitted materials are later removed, hidden, privatized, modified, or deleted.
Open source is encouraged.
Use Whatever Tools You Want
You can use:
- AI coding assistants
- Generative asset pipelines
- LLM APIs
- Open-source models
- Procedural systems
- Custom workflows
We care more about what you create than the tools you use to create it.
Start Preparing
As registration opens, start exploring:
- Browser-based AI workflows
- Three.js and WebGPU
- Multimodal AI pipelines
- Interaction system prototypes
- Small AI-assisted creation tools
The best projects often begin as strange experiments.
The Future Is Interactive
AI-generated content is only the beginning.
The next generation of creation tools will be interactive, intelligent, collaborative, and browser-native.
This hackathon is an open invitation to help shape that future.
We cannot wait to see what you build.
