QA Specialist - Magic Madness VR (up to CZK 65,000/month)

We're looking for a QA Specialist to help us test and polish Magic Madness VR, a fast-paced multiplayer VR game available on Steam.

Focus Areas: Game QA | Bug Reporting | Test Planning | Virtual Reality | Prague

About Magic Madness VR

Magic Madness VR is the ultimate PvP experience in VR, a fast-paced multiplayer game where up to four players battle each other using the raw powers of fire, water, earth, metal and wood. Every element comes with its own playstyle.

Magic Madness VR launched on Steam (PC VR) in March 2025 and is now in active development, with new content, balancing and a standalone VR port on the way. The game is built in Unreal Engine 5 by a small, focused team in the center of Prague.

We're a Prague-based VR studio (Victoria VR) and Magic Madness VR is our flagship game. You'll be joining the core team shaping its future.

Your Role

As a QA Specialist, you'll own testing across our multiplayer VR title: finding, documenting, and tracking bugs, and helping the team ship a polished, stable game.

What you'll work on

  • Writing and executing test plans for new features and builds
  • Finding, reproducing, and clearly documenting bugs
  • Regression testing across builds and platforms
  • Working closely with programmers and designers to verify fixes
  • Testing multiplayer sessions and VR-specific interactions (motion controllers, room-scale)

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience testing games
  • Strong bug reporting and test planning skills
  • English is a must; Czech or Russian is an advantage
  • Self-reliant, detail-oriented approach
  • Availability to work on-site in Prague

Bonus points / nice to have

  • Experience testing VR titles specifically

What We Offer

  • On-site work in Prague (Wenceslas Square)
  • Freelance cooperation
  • Compensation based on experience: up to CZK 65,000/month
  • Work on our flagship VR PvP game Magic Madness VR
  • Direct communication and minimal bureaucracy

Application Task

As part of your application, please complete the task below and submit it alongside your CV.

Choose a single video game of your choice and explore it through your own gameplay. All work should be based on that one game.

Part 1

Play the game and identify at least two bugs, then document them in whatever format you consider most appropriate (bug report). For each issue, make sure a reader could reproduce it without asking you follow-up questions.

Please note: we are looking for findings from your own hands-on session. Reports sourced from public issue trackers, forums, or other online research will not be considered.

Part 2

Create a test plan with test cases that you and your colleagues could realistically use going forward.

Full coverage of the game is not expected. A focused sample of a few well-written test cases is enough to show how you structure a plan and how you write a case.
